Minimum Requirement
CATEGORY
A: Holder of Teacher’s Diploma:
i.
Candidate
for Vocational/Technical Education must hold a Teacher’s Diploma in the relevant
subject from a recognized institution.
ii.
Candidate
for Guidance and Counselling may apply with a Teacher’s Diploma in any subject;
CATEGORY B: Holders of other Diploma:
i.
Must
hold Teacher’s Certificate “A” or one Year Certificate in Education
ii.
Must
hold a Higher National Diploma in the relevant field from recognized
institution
iii.
Must
hold City and Guilds Advanced or Technician Part III and must have passed the
Foundation Course organized by the Department of Technology Education.
NB: All other diploma
holders will be placed at level 200 of the four – year B. Ed degree programme.

EDUCATION
Candidates must:
§ Hold
a degree OR Higher Natinal Diploma in Engineering, Building OR Business Studies
OR
§ Hold an Advance/Final City and Guilds
Certificate in a trade subject, OR
§ Hold a minimum of three passes in Royal
Society of Arts/Ghana Commercial Examinations Stage III in approved business
subjects OR
§ Hold a Diploma in Business Studies.
TWO – YEAR ENRICHMENT

For admission into a diploma
ReplyDeleteOne must have at least pass in three of the six subjects namely; English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science or Social Studies and three must be in relevant electives.
For purposes of admission, a pass in
(i) WASSCE means Grade: A1 – C6.
(ii) SSSCE means Grade: A – D.
